What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead author teams in developing publication deliverables such as manuscripts, abstracts, podium presentations, and posters
- Collaborate with research teams and authors to develop publication strategy
- Identify and synthesize relevant primary source literature for publications
- Manage publication timelines and projects
- Provide critical review of draft materials and consultation on target journals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience as a medical writer or author with a track record of publishing in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience in creating tabular and graphic presentations of results
- Experience in searching and synthesizing medical literature
- Experience managing publication projects and adhering to timelines and deliverables
- In-depth understanding of research methods and processes in life sciences or public health
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with health economic and outcomes research, observational research, and real-world data
- Experience managing internal and external client relationships
- Familiarity with AMA style writing
- Understanding of best practices for publishing in peer-reviewed journals
