      POSITION SUMMARY: The Pharmacy Medication Reconciliation Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and safety of patient medication records and sterile compounding practices within the inpatient pharmacy setting. Working under the supervision of a pharmacist, this position conducts detailed medication reconciliation interviews upon patient admission, verifies medication histories from multiple sources, and assists in the preparation of sterile IV compounds in accordance with USP standards. Beyond clinical duties, the technician handles various administrative and clerical tasks such as data entry, supply management, 340B audit support, and documentation upkeep. This role directly supports the quality, efficiency, and safety of pharmacy operations while contributing to broader departmental goals as needed.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      • High School Diploma/GED
      • State of Alaska Pharmacy Technician License
      • BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association
      • Pharmacy Tech National Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board, preferred
