      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Research patients' individual medical benefits to ensure prior authorization is obtained before medical services are provided
      - Manage three separate medication referral Workqueues for multiple medications across various specialty departments
      - Interact with payers’ authorization systems to ensure compliance with prior authorization rules
      - Provide excellent customer service while working with patients, insurance payers, and clinical support staff
      - Document authorizations accurately to facilitate timely billing for services

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g., GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution
      - Minimum of three years in a clinical or customer service setting
      - Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft, scheduling software, and electronic medical records systems (Epic or equivalent)
      - High level of understanding of health insurance products and limitations
      - Proven excellent customer service and communication skills

      - Relevant experience in a managed care environment
      - Strong problem-solving and complex patient management skills
      - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
      - Detail-oriented with a general understanding of medical practice groups and payors
