      Member Preferred Repairs Network Field Reinspector

      The Member Preferred Repair Representative supports the Auto Physical Damage Operation and is responsible for managing a group of repair facilities who estimate repair costs and repair vehicle damage related to insurance claims. This role is responsible for ensuring program shops are providing accurate estimates, following correct procedures and industry standards, and ensuring members are provided with a timely and exceptional repair experience. They will be responsible for on-site re-inspections at program repair facilities. The use of virtual inspection tools may occasionally be utilized. They will be required to coach and provide feedback to assigned shops on performance successes and improvements identified, as well as provide support.

      Responsibilities:

      • Conduct thorough re-inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage resulting from covered losses.

      • Proficiency in body, refinish, mechanical, and structural/frame related repairs a must.

      • Provide feedback to partner repair facilities on opportunities identified as a result of file audit or reinspection.

      • Ensure shop is completing timely and quality repairs, by providing training and coaching as needed

      • Monitor shop inventory and capacity to ensure repairs are progressing forward appropriately.

      • Communicate effectively with vehicle owners, repair facilities, and claims adjusters to facilitate the claims process.

      • Verify and interpret/resolve coverage by gathering necessary information to ensure policy applicability. Coordinate with internal and external departments as required.

      • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements during the estimation process.

      • Stay updated with the latest developments in vehicle design, repair techniques, and industry best practices.

      • Facilitates resolution for possible warranty claims between the vehicle owners and repair facilities when needed.

      Education and Requirements:

      • High School diploma or GED Required.

      • The ideal candidate will have experience in auto damage estimation and experience with Direct Repair Programs. Relevant industry certifications, such as I-CAR Gold, are preferred

      • 3 - 5 years collision estimating experience preferred.

      • Ability to service claims of various complexities.

      • Some insurance experience preferred.

      • Excellent computer and line of business technical software skills required.

      • Advanced organization and planning recognition skills required.

      • Advanced interpersonal skills required.

      • Physical requirements may include lifting (50 lbs. or more).

      • The employee is frequently required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl around vehicles in all kinds of weather.

      • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record required.

      • Must be high energy, highly motivated, self-starter individual requiring minimal supervision.

      • Must be flexible to assist on Catastrophe duty within the extended organization.

      The starting pay range for this position is:

      $35.01 - $46.66
