- Perform general ledger balancing
- Coordinate return items with members, outside vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank and other institutions
- Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries and related Accounting general ledger balancing
- Work member cases/activities assigned
- Follow and maintain policies and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA rules and regulations and Federal Banking laws
- Log, research and make necessary general ledger, account adjustments and/or returns
- Obtain information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic funds transfer requests
- Research and verify incoming and outgoing funds transfer information
- Communicate with vendor to process funds transfers
- Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming funds transfer laws
- Verify members for outgoing funds transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing funds transfers
- Perform other duties, as assigned
- The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
- High school diploma or GED
- Intermediate Excel and Word experience
- Previous customer/member service experience
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience
- Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
- Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high volume pressure
- Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within department
- Ability to interact professionally with all employees and members
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to self-motivate with strong organization skills and capacity for attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines

- Ability to pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
