What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Produce original meme content tailored specifically for Reddit and other platforms
- Actively engage in Reddit communities, fostering relationships with moderators and users
- Monitor subreddit performance and refine content strategies based on audience insights
- Collaborate with the Editorial Team to bring Reddit trends and community insights into creative processes
- Distribute content effectively across Reddit and adjacent platforms, tracking performance metrics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience in digital engagement, community management, meme creation, or analytics
- Demonstrated experience with Reddit and navigating diverse online communities
- Strong understanding of internet culture, memes, and platform-specific humor
- Ability to produce content suited for Reddit and adapt for cross-platform use
- Strong organizational and self-management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in civic engagement, political participation, or digital advocacy
- Up-to-date knowledge of pop culture, politics, and digital discourse
- Interest in digital organizing and community mobilization
