- Implementing engaging programing specifically catered to the needs of residents living with dementia
- Supervising caregiving team working in the Memory Care community
- Works closely with Director of Wellness to ensure resident safety and quality of care and reports any concerns
- Participates in leader on duty rotation
- Reports resident safety concerns to Executive Director and Wellness Director
- Highschool diploma or GED
- 2 – 3 years as a Memory Care Director at an Assisted Living/Memory Care Community
- Extensive knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and other related forms of dementia
- Experience in addressing and responding to the unmet needs of individuals living with dementia
- Exceptional teambuilding and leadership skills
- Knowledge of the state regulations and compliance management
- Effective communication skills
- Strong financial judgement
- Maintains basic knowledge of computer software and internet platforms, including email.
- Desire to work with older adults and their families
