- A degree in a related field such as Psychology, Behavioral Science and Social Work or significant experience in a related field preferred.
- Demonstrated management or leadership skills.
- Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s or other related dementia
- Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly, their family members and those with memory impairment.
- At least three years of experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s or related memory impairment or dementia preferred.
- Some management experience preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with other departments and management to continuously improve quality and overall experience of our customers.
- Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written form.
- Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed is essential.
-Must be able to work under stress of meeting deadlines and changing priorities
-Able to manipulate normal business machines such as computers and copiers
-May be exposed to unpleasant odors, contagious diseases and blood borne pathogens

POSITION SUMMARY :
You will have an opportunity to utilize your prior experience and creativity to bring forth innovative ideas to provide a stimulating, yet comforting environment to ensure our residents thrive in their environment. You will partner closely with management and staff to ensure effective day-to-day operations, excellent customer service and quality care initiatives are met consistently. The Memory Care Manager will serve as an ongoing resource, taking the lead in problem solving and providing guidance to memory care unit team members.
Schedule: Full time - flexibility needed
