- Developing and managing a structured memory support program incorporating best practices in dementia care.
- Coordinating and overseeing daily memory support activities tailored to the cognitive, physical, and emotional needs of residents.
- Training and supporting staff in dementia-specific care techniques, communication, and behavioral interventions.
- Conducting regular assessments of residents' abilities and preferences; adjusting programming accordingly.
- Partnering with families and interdisciplinary team members to develop and monitor personalized care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and organizational standards for memory care.
- Serving as a liaison to families, providing education, support, and regular communication.
- Staying current in industry best practices and emerging research in memory support and dementia care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in memory care, assisted living, or related setting.
- At least 3 to 5 years of current or prior related experience with people living with dementia
- At least 1 year of supervision experience; 2+ years’ experience in assisted living management preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience in program management or team coordination.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to memory care services.

The Memory Support Program Manager is responsible for the overall development, coordination, and implementation of a comprehensive memory care program that enhances the quality of life for residents living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory-related conditions. This role involves working closely with clinical staff, caregivers, families, and residents to deliver person-centered care and programming in alignment with the community’s philosophy and regulatory requirements.
