This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new and innovative suicide prevention service. The service has been designed to provide a more joined-up approach to supporting those experiencing mental health and financial difficulties by providing mental health support in local Citizens Advice premises. We're looking for a Mental Health Advisor to deliver workshops, groups and low intensity 1:1 psychoeducation and self-help support.
You'll work closely with individuals experiencing early signs of distress such as anxiety, depression, or stress supporting their recovery through early intervention, social inclusion, and empowerment. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing referrals, and building positive relationships with local partners and services.
This is a dynamic and rewarding position ideal for someone who is passionate about mental health, has strong interpersonal skills, and is committed to making a positive difference in the community.
