      75000 - 85000 USD Per Year

      Working Location:

      Fresno, CA (Oupatient)

      Working Hours/Shift:

      M-F 8AM-5PM

      What you bring to SBHG:

      • Master's degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university required.
      • One (1) year direct service experience in a mental health setting required (student internship and/or practicum time may be substituted).
      • Mental Health Specialist II: Licensed as AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC required.
      • Valid California Driver’s License required.

      How you will make a difference:

      • Assumes primary clinical role for youth, adolescents, and families.
      • Identifies immediate risks and needs of clients served and develops a plan to address them in collaboration with the treatment team.
      • Identifies ongoing treatment needs, diagnoses, and updates problem list as needed.
      • Facilitates treatment team meetings, including ICC and CFT Meetings as needed.
      • Provides services in various settings, including homes, schools/work, community, and office settings. Uses a personal vehicle to drive to and from off-site locations to provide services. May be required to transport clients and/or family members in a personal vehicle.
      • Provides services, including individual, family, and group therapy and collateral, to youth and families, as deemed necessary and appropriate through the assessment process and in collaboration with the treatment team. Services are to be short-term, as longer-term services and resources are identified.
      • Provides crisis intervention, assesses risk, and initiates an involuntary psychiatric 5150 hold if they meet significant safety criteria.
      • Provides case management and linkage services to clients. Documents all services provided clearly and concisely within the timelines and framework established by Central Star. In collaboration with the team, complete all required reports and documentation for regulatory bodies..
      • Completes outcomes measures in collaboration with the Supervisor, Quality Assurance, and Training departments.

      In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is 68,640.00 - 98,178.07. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
