- Provides individual psychotherapy to children and adolescents referred through the TCHATT program in the Department of Psychiatry.
- Develops, implements and reviews Individual Treatment Plans.
- Assists with training and education of mental health clinician trainees.
- Assists in the implementation of Quality Improvement/Quality Management programs and in the monitoring of compliance with required policies, procedures and standards.
- Provides routine consultation and communication with supervisor and/or psychiatric provider regarding the status of assigned patients.
- Completes clinically appropriate and timely documentation.
- Liaisons with patient, patient families, on-site departments and community agencies to coordinate current treatment and/or facilitate aftercare services
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work. Current licensure as a Professional Counselor, Psychological Associate, or Clinical Social Worker with five (5) years experience as a LPA, LPC or LCSW.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for providing mental health evaluation and therapeutic intervention to patients. Works under the supervision of a Psychologist, Mental Health Manager, and/or Program Director.
