      With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.
      This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, Santee-Wateree Community Mental Health Center (SWCMHC), Sumter Clinic, 801 N. Pike West, Sumter, SC 29153.
      • Oversees the administrative operations of the team.
      • Provides clinical oversight of services ensuring patients are seen in accordance with their
      needs and the delivery of best and ethical practices.
      • Provides direct services to ACT service beneficiaries.
      • Ensures services are documented in accordance with SCDMH/QA requirements.
      • Provides direct supervision to ACT team members to include but not limited to facilitating clinical supervision meetings, treatment team meetings, coordinating training for team and completing evaluations.
      • Ensures a department commitment to cultural affairs and ensures all direct reports have a cultural affairs component to his or her planning document as a measurable objective.
      • Complies with Corporate Compliance Policy and Risk Management Plan and ensures timely completion of prior authorizations.
      • Pursues professional development through collegial consultation, continuing education, and licensure.
      • Performs other duties as required.


      State: A master's degree in guidance counseling or the social sciences or a related field and professional experience in a mental health, human services, or social service program.
      Facility Minimum Requirements: Must be licensed Psychologist, LISW-CP, LPC, or LMFT. Three (3) years' experience working with adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness and a minimum of two (2) yeaRs post graduate experience:
      Agency Preferences: Supervisory Experience.
      NOTE: Applicants must also meet Agency minimum requirements to be considered for this position.
      Valid driver's license requiredBi-lingual abilities in English and Spanish (or other language) are a plus.

      Ability to lift 5 lbs. and operate a state vehicle. Position is considered essential and may be called back during crises/disasters /emergencies. Position will be part of the Assertive Community Treatment Team. Requires flexible schedule. Services are delivered in the community and patients' homes.
