We are seeking a full-time Mental Health Technician to join our Adult Behavioral Health team in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA

      Schedule: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday, 12 am - 8 am

      Earn $16.35/hour or $18.35/hour with the selection of Enhanced Pay

      Position Details

      The Mental Health Technician plays a vital role in supporting the emotional and social well-being of individuals in the long-term care facility setting. This position involves providing individual counseling, implementing and monitoring treatment plans, and observing both individual and group social interactions. The technician leads or co-leads recreational and therapeutic group activities, supports clients in developing daily living skills, and ensures their overall health and safety of residents.

      Responsibilities also include accompanying clients on community outings, engaging them in meaningful social and leisure activities, and maintaining accurate and thorough documentation.

      Qualifications

      The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

      • High School Diploma/GED & 6 months of related experience,
        • Or 12 college credits in Human Services or related field
      • Must have an active and unrestricted driver's license
