      Overview

      Graham Windham is seeking a licensed (or limited permit) Clinician who will be primarily responsible for providing direct and indirect therapeutic services to adolescent youth at its residential campus in Lower Westchester. These services include but are limited to, assessing clients; providing individual, group and collateral therapy; and supporting the overall milieu programming.       About the Residential Treatment Center (RTC) Program

      The Residential Treatment Center serves adolescents placed through the Child Welfare, School and Juvenile Justice systems. At the RTC, Residents face a variety of interpersonal, family and mental health issues and many have histories of trauma or complex trauma due to their life circumstances. All staff members are trained in the use of Collaborative Problem Solving; an evidenced-based, and trauma-informed practice of working with youth and families aimed at jointly solving problems and developing durable interpersonal skills. Through this interdisciplinary treatment approach, youth are supported to grow and thrive, placing them on a trajectory of continuing to overcome difficult challenges that they may face.

      Primary Duties & Responsibilities

      · Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of youth

      · Provide individual, group and collateral family therapy and crisis intervention support, as appropriate

      · Complete progress notes and written documentation per program and regulatory guidelines

      · Actively and engage participants in the RTC milieu program and community

      · Refer and coordinate clients to receive additional or specialized services

      · Participate in trainings and professional development opportunities provided

      Minimum Qualifications

      · LCSW, LMSW, LMHC or LMFT (or limited permit) with a minimum of 1 year of experience providing direct services in a mental health treatment or child welfare setting

      · Utilize trauma-informed and evidenced-based modalities such as Solution Based Casework, Collaborative Problem Solving, and other related clinical based interventions

      · Possess valid NY State Driver’s license, free of significant infractions

      · Previous experience with behavior-based modalities (CBT/TF-CBT, DBT), Motivational Interviewing, play/creative arts/narrative therapy, etc. a plus.
