      About Our Program

      Each summer URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business which they choose to pursue. For 10 weeks, interns will share in the unique culture & perks found at our Home Office in the historic Philadelphia Navy Yard, while developing the skills to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment. Our paid internship program also offers a summer full of intern focused events including exposure to our senior leadership across the business in small group settings, insight into company initiatives, off-site field trips & for those qualified a chance to interview for a full-time job opportunity.       The URBN 2024 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/3 through 8/9 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

      Overview

      You are a creative, resourceful & detail oriented individual studying marketing or communications.

      Our marketing intern will have the opportunity to work on projects related to social media, ­­­­­­­ promotions, research and all facets of marketing for all the brands underneath Menus & Venues: Terrain Cafe, Terrain Events, Pizzeria Vetri, Amis, and Gatehouse.

      What Will You Be Doing?

      · Assist in social media content creation by visiting our restaurants + venues in the Philadelphia area and capturing photo and video content in real time

      · Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to organize our Terrain Events photography database and keep it up to date

      · Contribute to opportunities impacting brand representation, including but not limited to copywriting, graphic design, and customer relations

      · Assist with market research and data analysis

      · Maintain up-to-date online presences across all restaurant and venue locations

      You’re eager to learn about all the different facets of marketing and will bring new ideas and be given the ability to act upon them.

      Project Overview and Guidelines

      In addition to your application and resume, to be considered for this role please submit a Concept Board (8.5 X 11 PDF format is preferred)

      · Create a marketing campaign concept board focused on Fall 2024 featuring tears of images (user generated content, still life styling, editorial, artistic, branding, etc.) that you find aspirational for the brand’s digital direction and could be used as a potential collective campaign idea across email, digital and social platforms

      · You may use visuals from blogs, URBN brand UGC, Instagram, magazines, etc. to show your point of view but be sure to think like a marketer when pulling your aspirational tears and compiling the concept board.

      · Be sure to include 3-5 key words or terms that would be beneficial for this campaign from an SEO perspective

      Application Process

      Summer Internship Program Application Process:

      1. Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component in the application (see above), it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position.

      2. Complete HireVue: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a HireVue Video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received.

      3. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.
