You will administer e-contracts and Something Extra offer contracts for assigned department
You will partner with Category Managers, Pricing, and Marketing to ensure we are able to deliver our customer promises
Merchandising Coordinators may support several Category Managers or senior leaders by scheduling appointments, arranging meetings, distributing notifications and materials,
Merchandising Coordinators facilitate the new and discontinued item process for assigned area including communications with vendors, TPM & pricing team, warehouse and schematics teams.
You will communicate item review dates, adds and deletes to vendors.
You will prepare various basic reporting and analysis including ad actuals and other sales reports

- You have a strong background in procurement or other related business functions.
- Two or more (2+) years’ experience in retail operations, retail or wholesale sales or distribution and a High School Diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge and application of the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of inventory management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Maintain effective working relationships with all distribution center functions and assigned suppliers to maximize efficiencies.
- Adapt to changing work priorities.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Work is sedentary; sitting most of the time.
- Keyboarding; use fingers to make small movements such as typing.
- Viewing computer monitor – average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare documents, enter data into computer system, read reports and computer monitor.
- Talk/hear in interaction with customers and Team Members.

What You Will Do
As a Merchandising Coordinator at Raley’s, you are responsible for a variety of general administrative support and coordination for the Sales and Merchandising function. This role is responsive to a high volume of e-mails and requests for information from vendors, stores, and business partner and requires knowledge of administrative and customer service practices and the ability to prioritize and accurately complete various time-sensitive tasks.
