Job Description:
Role: MES Functional consultant (Product Development Leader)Responsible for overseeing the design, development, and rollout of MES solution. Requires a combination of MES expertise, leadership, and deep knowledge of manufacturing processes. The leader will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business teams, Factory teams, Development team, Architectural team, and operations, to align the MES strategy with business goals.Experience and Skills:• 15+ years of experience in MES development and manufacturing IT.• Proven track record in leading product development for MES or similar industrial software.• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, shop-floor operations, and IT/OT integration.• Expertise in various MES modules such as Product tracking, Order Management, BOM Management, Quality management, and integrations.Location: USA - TAMPAKey Responsibilities:Product Development & Strategy • Define and drive the MES product roadmap in alignment with business needs and customer requirements• Lead the development of MES solutions, ensuring compliance with business needs• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points, gather requirements, and translate them into product features and enhancements• Oversee the production deploymentLeadership & Team Management • Manage and mentor a team of MES developers, architects, and testers• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence• Coordinate with project managers to ensure on-time delivery of MES solutions within scope and budgetStakeholder Engagement • Collaborate with business and Factory teams to ensure MES solutions address business challenges• Act as the primary liaison between the MES development team and customers• Present product updates, performance metrics, and business impact to senior leadershipOther Skills • Strategic Thinking : Ability to align MES solutions with long-term business goals• Problem Solving : Proactively address challenges in system integration and functionality• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work effectively with Factory , operations, and business teams• Customer Focus : Ensure MES solutions meet user needs and drive measurable value
Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in MES development and manufacturing IT.• bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. •Proven track record in leading product development for MES or similar industrial software.• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, shop-floor operations, and IT/OT integration.• Expertise in various MES modules such as Product tracking, Order Management, BOM Management, Quality management, and integrations.
Salary Range: $131,700-$178,300 a year
