- System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and updates on MES software and hardware to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to MES, including software bugs, hardware failures, and network problems.
- User Support: Provide technical support and training to production staff on MES functionalities and best practices.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely data collection, storage, and reporting within the MES.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement MES solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting activities.
- Compliance: Ensure MES operations comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Follow up the production issue with the production team on a 24/7 basis in necessary
- Perform other duties as required.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advances/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications in MES or IT support are advantageous.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in MES, manufacturing systems, or industrial automation.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and how MES supports efficiency and quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience with databases SQL, PowerApps, or process automation tools is a plus.
- Work experience at high-volume manufacturing line in cleanroom environment.
- Data-driven decision-making and result oriented.
- Previous experience in regulated manufacturing industry, preferably in medical device or pharmaceuticals.
- Multi-language fluency (English, Malay minimum)
- Programming and scripting proficiency in language such as Java, C# or SQL
- Experience in a start-up production environment is a plus.
- Experience working with Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
- Proactive approach to technology adoption and innovation.
- Pre-employment medical health check is required / Fit to work for this job by doctor.
- No history of back pain, neck pain, cervical or other related issues.
- No history of drug use. Regular checks will be performed.

Position Overview:
The MES Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within a production environment. This position involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing MES to support efficient manufacturing processes and data management. Business needs may necessitate the need to adjust shift start and end times and will require working in shifts.
