  Who we need

  As our Metadata Operations Manager, based in Berlin, Germany, you will take charge of our metadata, ensuring JustWatch remains the ultimate streaming guide worldwide. Your responsibilities will span from managing our content database to overseeing all metadata and streaming information on our platform.

  What you will be doing:

  • Be the daily link with other JustWatch teams like Product or SEO in order to support their metadata needs.
  • Take ownership of accuracy of all metadata and streaming information on the platform.
  • You'll be responsible for database, monitoring and reporting activities.
  • You represent the department in content and technical optimizations of the metadata process chain, data quality and databases to enable an optimal customer experience.
  • You continuously create analyses, reportings and presentations on results, accuracy, coverage, etc.

  
  

  What we need from you:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar position, ideally in a tech environment. Experience as a technical project manager would be a plus.
  • You are a power user of multiple streaming services, are familiar with this market and utilizes apps or tools to track and rate titles.
  • You need a deep knowledge of where to watch what on which streaming service.
  • True passion for movies and TV Shows, you own multiple subscriptions and you are keeping track of your consumption.
  • Open-minded, problem solver and service-oriented mentality.
  • Strong skills in understanding and driving technical processes.
  • Basic knowledge in SQL / Snowflake.
  • Communication skills (you will be handling different stakeholders internally and user feedback externally).
  • Working language is English, knowledge in German appreciated.
  • Location: Berlin - no remote position!
