  Job Description

  Fit-up aluminum, titanium, and steel assemblies in accordance with established work instructions to achieve specified weld quality that meets criteria of post weld testing requirements. Maintain tools and supplies in safe working order. Must be able to function effectively in a team-based environment, maintain a clean work area, maintain Environment Safety & Health (ESH) compliance standards including proper utilization of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to related safety procedures.

  Desired skills

  This occupation requires the trimming, fitting, aligning, assembling, and setting up of prefabricated tubular, machined, or formed parts prior to welding operations and the straightening and alignment of warped assemblies and parts after welding.

  Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
