- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Experience with tape measures, calipers, and other measuring instruments
- Reading text and documents, basic math, writing and oral communications within team environment
- Problem solving, critical thinking, planning, prioritizing and organizing
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Light to moderate lifting
- English proficiency is required for this manufacturing position to ensure safety compliance and fulfillment of operational needs. The candidate must be able to speak, read and understand English in order to follow equipment instructions, understand safety protocols and respond to emergency situations. Strong English skills are also necessary for communicating with team members, supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth production processes and to maintain quality standards.
- Six (6) months experience operating metal forming equipment or direct Wenger Corporation experience
- Vocational/technical school training
- Working positively in group settings, valuing input from others and offering assistance when needed to ensure success
- Set up, adjustment, and operation of a variety of metal fabrication equipment including, but not limited to press brake, punch presses, tube benders, saws, and wire forming machines
- Determining the materials required and following the sequence of tasks outlined on production orders
- Manufacture products using engineering drawings and blueprints to meet product specifications
- Ability to complete a thorough inspection of parts
- Maintain equipment and environment to be clean and safe

Wenger Corporation is seeking a Metal Machine Operator responsible to set up and operate metal fabrication equipment while working under limited supervision within assigned areas in a manner, which meets or exceeds established quality and quantity standards.
