- Ensure general safety and machine shop equipment practices
- Programming for CNC mill using MasterCam software
- Operate CNC mill
- Operate manual lathes and mills
- Operate chop saw to cut brass stock
- Assure finished product is to specifications
- Use tool grinder to make simple milling tools.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic proficiency with shop precision measuring instruments
- Communication and Team Skills
- Understanding of basic mathematics
- Basic Computer Skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Certification in machining or related field
- Prior experience in machine operation
- Basic CNC programming skills
