      Salary $32.63 an hour

      Key Accountabilities

      • Meter work associated with self-contained metering,
      • Install, remove and cut tamper-proof rings/locks, including service-related work
      • Turn on/off/install/exchange meters and accessory equipment
      • Investigate stopped/low use meters
      • Wire complex meter sockets (shop work).
      • Perform loop checks.
      • Program electronic meters as required.
      • Other duties as assigned.
      • Cut and Clear activity during emergency assignment.
      • Perform all duties of MSR classification.

      Qualifications

      • Capable of learning fundamental electricity and meter wiring.
      • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
      • The physical ability to walk long distances and climb stairs without undue fatigue.
      • Suitable personality and appearance for customer contact is necessary.
      • Retain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License which does not restrict driving as to type of transmission or hours of operation.
      • Ability to safely operate Company vehicles, tools and equipment as required.
      • Successful applicant must have passed the Field Assessment test or equivalent.
      • Ability to respond to emergency situations and work extended hours as needed.
