What does our team do within the EU Ops Learning & Development team?
The EU L&D Metrics team owns systems, tools and processes to support local Operations and Learning teams to better onboard, coach, support Associates. We also own business review tools to better understand performance at EU Fulfillment Centers, root cause gaps and benchmark best practices. Metrics analysts are responsible for converting data into actionable business insights. They are analysis experts who leverage a variety of data platforms and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful, and consumable information.
Key job responsibilities
- Design, create and publish tools and reports at EU level on Key Performance Indicators
- Create dashboards and do in depth analysis to root cause performance gaps
- Improve on our existing reports and tools
- Adapt to evolving requirements from our customers and keep up to date with technologies and tools best suited to deliver the most adapted solutions
- Provide support to end user on the reporting and tools
- Create documentation on tools created for our users and internal use
- Work on communication supports for our team
- Scale data processes and reports; write queries to automate frequent data requests
- Own improvement streams end-to-end

Avonmouth, GBRExperience working with data and provide root cause analysis
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Advanced proficiency in English in both written and verbal communication (C1 Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon. If you have all the basic qualifications above, we’d love to hear from you.
Intermediate SQL knowledge
Experience in using any data visualization tools (Power BI, Quicksight, Tableau)
Ability to learn new tools, languages, processes easily
Experience any programming language
Experience with working on projects
Experience in business understanding (e.g. Operations)
