      Job Summary

      As the Fleet Manager for the California Region, you'll be the heart and soul of our expansive vehicle and equipment operations. We have a very dynamic and ever-changing landscape that we operate in. Get ready to be a leader, innovator, and efficiency champion, crafting processes, sharing best practices, and shaping Fleet Operations across the entire company.

      Here's what you'll do:

      - Lead a dynamic team: Guide and develop a team of exempt and non-exempt Analysts and Specialists, empowering them to excel.
      - Keep our fleet safe and compliant: Oversee vehicle inspections, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide expert guidance to your team.
      - Boost efficiency through innovation: Design and implement processes that streamline operations and maximize value.
      - Manage the budget: Assist in developing and meeting departmental budget goals.
      - Collaborate cross functionally for success: Partner with diverse internal Division (Denver) and Region (California) teams like Construction, Facilities, Network, Security, Supply Chain, and Technical Operations, while also interacting with Headquarters (Philadelphia) teams like Fleet, Legal, and Sustainability.

      Job Description

      Core Responsibilities

      • Oversees service fleet operations.
      • Determines current and future fleet needs by collecting and analyzing vehicle records, operating and repair costs and fuel consumption.
      • Develops and maintains relationships with outside vendors and service providers.
      • Develops and implements policies and procedures for the effective and efficient management of the company fleet.
      • Maintains computerized fleet tracking and maintenance program.
      • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
      • Manages and oversees direct reports.
      • Assists in the preparation of capital and expense budgets.
      • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
      • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
      • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

      Additional Responsibilities

      • Must have a valid driver’s license.

      • Remains available on a 24/7 on-call basis to address emergency situations including but not limited to natural disasters, incidents, or equipment malfunctions.

      • Will be responsible for informing our monthly Fleet forecasting process with the FP&A Team and managing to a budget for the Fleet P&L .

      • Manages third-party vendors to assure preventative maintenance compliance .

      • Ability to develop, coach, and mentor others, including the ability to provide development experiences to prepare others for effective job performance and career growth .

      • Ability to project manage complex deployments across the footprint .

      • Ability to think quickly and balance changing priorities, sometimes when urgency is of the utmost importance .

      • Interpret, train, and consistently enforce company Fleet policies and procedures.

      Compensation

      Primary Location Pay Range: $92,510.58 - $138,765.87

      This job can be performed in California with a Pay Range of $81,409.31 - $138,765.87

      Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.       Bachelor's Degree
