      JOB SUMMARY:

      To strategically manage the Reno and Tahoe Transportation Departments, which includes all air, shuttles and limousine transportation, while delivering Truly Great Customer Service.

      KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :

      • Responsible for optimal scheduling for NNV properties, and managing expenses effectively
      • Works closely with the VIP/Hotel & Casino Marketing Leaders at both properties to enhance the one region strategy.
      • Ability to analyze daily boards in an effort to effectively dispatch fleet limiting “dead runs” and minimizing outsourcing needs. Adjusting the schedule as needed.
      • Effectively plan for large events and strategically dispatch fleet accordingly.
      • Develop strategies to maximize fleet and minimize overtime.
      • Develop abilities of the Dispatch team to build and dispatch the board in a strategic manner.
      • Ensures all Transportation employees have the necessary licenses and training to operate the fleet in accordance with DOT regulations.
      • Works with Director to create monthly billing invoices to be submitted timely and in accordance with the Corporate/Property Accounting close.
      • Ensures that all Transportation employee are well groomed and in professional attire/uniform while on duty.
      • Responsible for ensuring the preventative maintenance is up to date for all vehicles and in compliance with DOT regulations, to include daily vehicle inspections by the drivers and daily recording of mileage.
      • Ensures all guests receive the utmost in professional and efficient guest service from all areas: Dispatch and Drivers positions.
      • Handles all guest inquiries and complaints in an efficient, courteous and tactful manner.
      • Works with Director to conduct on going safety and customer service training to include “ride a-longs”
      • Ensures vehicles are equipped with all necessary “Safety Kits”
      • Establish and administer policies and procedures pertaining to the Transportation Department and ensures adherence to these policies and procedures.
      • Able to handle the duties of Dispatcher and Driver in the absence of adequate staffing.
      • Works with Department Director regarding recommendations to changes in assigned personnel, including hiring, promotion, demotion and release of personnel. Approves wage and salary adjustments for personnel within established guidelines. Approves regular vacation and recommends leaves of absence
      • Works with Department Director to establish department goals and ensures objectives are met; designs and implements operational, logistical and budgetary plans.
      • Counsels, guides and instructs personnel in the proper performance of their duties. Works with Department Director to prepare performance appraisals of assigned personnel.

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

      • College Degree preferred
      • 3 to 5 years in a Front Services position in a Hotel Front Services area with progressively responsible positions or its equivalence preferred. Background in Logistics management a plus.

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Literate and fluent in English
      • Ability to handle multiple tasks/duties simultaneously
      • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
      • Strong organizational and administrative skills
      • Demonstrated leadership skills
      • Strong computer skills including, Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Limo Anywhere System
      • Ability to work a rotating shift with fluctuating days off
      • Analytical skills
      • Excellent customer service skills
      • Travel within the region is required
      • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
      • Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.
      • Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

      PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

      • Must be able to listen and respond to aural cues.
      • Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
      • Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property including stairs and escalators.
      • Ability to lift luggage weighing up to 50 pounds.
      • Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.

      Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy
      environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
