      Here's a summary of responsibilities:

      Initiate and manage marketing initiatives to elevate the services and opportunities the USOPC provides athletes and NGBs to build individual and collective brand exposure, promote Olympic and Paralympic sport, and drive value for Team USA. This role will lead initiation and measurement of athlete marketing programs to drive USOPC and Team USA brand stewardship and strategy in close partnership with NGB Services and Athlete Services to strengthen relationships, build trust, and generate greater awareness and engagement.

      Here's how you'll have an impact:

      • Serve as primary liaison with Athlete Services team and NGB Services team to identify and understand athlete marketing needs and opportunities, including the development of marketing materials that support organization-wide content, campaigns, and objectives for athletes and NGBs.
      • Develop and implement product strategy and management for new and existing USOPC athlete marketing programs, including Athlete Marketing Program (AMP).
      • Partner with Athlete Services to develop educational materials for athletes focused on athlete commercial rights, marketing, and commercial guidelines. Incorporate appropriate materials in AMP onboarding, Team USA Athlete Ambassador Program (TUAP), and ongoing athlete servicing.
      • Stay up to date on evolving Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) policies, guidelines, and opportunities and develop recommendations to support better education, exposure, and earnings for Team USA athletes.
      • Partner with digital and content teams, other departments, and third-party agencies, as relevant, to strategize and build new athlete marketing efforts.
      • Collaborate with Team USA athletes and Athlete Services team to identify new or existing areas across USOPC and Team USA platforms and storytelling opportunities to promote and support athletes. Follow trends in athlete marketing and identify appropriate applications of such information.
      • Serve on cross-functional team to develop and execute a plan to elevate Paralympic awareness on the road to LA28.
      • Support Athlete Services’ agent and athlete leadership forums and meetings as it relates to commercial and athlete marketing considerations
      • Service as partnership manager with AMP technology partner, Opendorse, to ensure quality service, improvement, and ongoing operations of AMP are maintained.
      • Monitor athlete and NGB use across AMP to ensure we are maximizing exposure for a variety of athletes across a variety of sports. Serve as go-to for recommendations of athlete(s) for Team USA and USOPC marketing needs.
      • Serve as steward of USOPC and Team USA brands with athletes, ensuring guidelines are appropriately built, distributed, and managed across campaigns and content development platforms.
      • Collaborate with USOPP and NBC partners to execute athlete-related marketing efforts (e.g., WeHo).
      • Monitor and measure effectiveness of athlete marketing to inform future campaign planning and execution.
      • Partner with others in the department to develop briefs for athletes around Team USA or USOPC marketing activities so they clearly understand needs and expectations

      • Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience
      • 4+ years of experience in marketing or customer engagement and strategy
      • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills
      • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
      • Proven ability to develop and sell concepts and campaigns
      • Ability to think independently and make decisions

      Here's some more information you need to know:

      • Hiring Pay Range: $61,263 - $77,804 per year
      • This is a full-time, exempt, position intended to work 40 hours per week.
      • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program at a 15% target. This program is subject to change or elimination by the USOPC at any time at its sole discretion.
