- Lead team in the management of catering charter portfolios, specificialty in the planning and execution of catering charters
- Responsible for oversight and review of charter invoicing, United kitchen cost reporting, management of charter portfolio budget and forecasting
- Develop and use forecasting models to evaluate product usage and equipment logistics to support overall catering performance and costs
- Develop strategy to simplify catering charters process and procedures, from communication channels to plan execution. Support Logistics by managing equipment and supply needs for charters
- Management of charter tools and guides are maintained and updated; oversee the Salesforce automation project in partnership with IT, United kitchens and Inflight Coordinators Lead the development and maintainace of catering charters training documents
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years in Catering, Airline Operations, Food Manufacturing or similar experience.
- 2+ years in managerial leadership position
- Inflight catering or Airline Operations
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Knowledge of airport operations, logistics and catering operations
- Available to work nights and weekends as needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting
- Food Safety experience
- Airline Catering/Charters Operations experience
- Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) Food Safety Training

The Inflight Services department includes flight attendants and the teams that support them.Job overview and responsibilities
Provide leadership to a team responsible for the planning and coordination of catering charters operations, including sports organizations, military, repatriation and ad hoc charters throughout the system. Responsible for leading and/or supporting charter strategies and continuous improvement projects. Additionally, this role will collaborate with strategic partners in Network Planning, Inflight, Flight Ops, United Kitchens, Food Safety, catering partners, technology partners and outside vendors to coordinate catering requirements and ensure successful execution. This role is responsible to develop, implement and sustain the food safety management system. This position is also responsible for training and supervision of their direct and indirect reports, providing the oversight and resources required to ensure compliance with the established Food Safety Plan and FSMA.
