- Consult with executive-level leadership and collaborate with key stakeholders within each sector as well as Plc Supply Chain to ensure key supply chain team and talent development objectives are met and align with the Inc. level SC strategy;
- Coordinate with sector supply chain leaders and HR business partners to identify high potential supply chain talent and emerging leaders to support creation of cohesive capability development plans that fill capability gaps;
- Lead and maintain a cross-sector supply chain network designed to support capabilities development programs including but not limited to identifying supply chain SMEs, common training library, stretch / rotational assignment development, and establishing key training and development priorities to meet the growing needs of the Supply Chain function and the industry;
- Influence senior leaders and partner with Inc. HR to champion and partner Supply Chain team and talent improvement initiatives. Partner with Plc. Supply Chain capabilities team to increase effectiveness and collaboration on people capability activities;
- Partner with Inc. Communications and HR to establish communications strategies designed to promote and execute Supply Chain capabilities initiatives and programs;
- Develop and execute organizational change management processes for key initiatives;
- Develop key metrics to track and report to the ISCC (Inc. Supply Chain Council) on effectiveness of capabilities programs; drive the overall capabilities strategy and enable continuous improvement;
- Solicit inputs and capability development priorities from each sector to ensure objectives and goals are aligned with the needs of all business areas;
- Produce program standards for developing talent. (SCLP, SCCN, other). Work with supply chain leadership to evolve these programs in line with other formerly recognized BAE leadership development programs. Ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement of the programs and their respective content. Perform as the owner of the program content and support development opportunities with the respective cohorts. Align with Plc to ensure alignment within these global programs, and project manage the full scope of the programs for incoming and outgoing cohorts;
- Implement a blended learning approach within all capabilities development programs to accommodate diverse learning styles and provide a level playing field for emerging talent;
- Stay current on the latest research and trends to identify and address talent gaps and provide sufficient solutions; Develop or source educational courses, content and materials to enhance the overall knowledge and capabilities of the supply chain organization;
- Serve as the owner of Inc. supply chain capabilities programs; keep the content current and relevant, establish program benchmarks and maintain program records;
- Identify core supply chain competencies to support career progression and build supply chain learning and career roadmaps; be a resource to foster employee growth and provide feedback where leadership improvement is needed;
- Serve as the primary POC on behalf of Supply Chain with Inc. L&D teams to partner on various development programs;
- Aid in building case based learning examples that align with the dynamic aerospace and defense supply chain environments;
- Lead the delivery and continuous improvement of the annual awards;
- Actively participate in and support the Inc Supply Chain Council.
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant work experience;
- Must hold advanced knowledge of capability development principles and methodologies;
- Robust understanding of competency gaps and capability development priorities;
- Ability to lead by influence and to drive change management across the enterprise at an operational and strategic level;
- Comprehensive understanding of problem-solving skills and utilize on a regular basis to meet unique demands form the diverse portfolio of businesses supported across the enterprise;
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills;
- Ability to travel approximately 25-30% of the time;
- Ability to forge strong partnerships.

The aim of this role is to fully optimize the supply chain professional network across the enterprise and ensure a focus on capability development for all supply chain disciplines. The successful candidate will develop content, drive leadership programs, support change management efforts across various initiatives, and will serve a primary contributor to the team and talent pillar in the supply chain global pillar.
