      £27,500 - £40,000 depending on experience + fantastic benefits

      Role Overview

      The MI Developer role is part of a small team responsible for delivery of data, reporting and analysis to the wider Care Services teams. This includes data manipulation from Core Systems into analytical systems for wider use.

      What you’ll do:

      • Ensuring the timely and appropriate collection, transformation and delivery of Management Information to all areas of Care Service in line with data giving a ‘single version of the truth’
      • Being data owner for nominated data sets, ensuring and applying best practice data management and working with cross functional colleagues to drive forwards continuous improvement in data and analytics
      • Develop, Administer and Maintain key reporting systems eg Oracle Essbase, Power BI
      • Support, alongside Senior Finance Business Partner and team colleague’s vendor management as and when required for core Care Services systems eg contract renewals, day to day relationship management to resolve any issues.
      • Work effectively with non-Finance and non-technical functions (eg People, Risk etc) to help design reporting with effectively support the functions
      • Work alongside other MI colleagues to continue the development and maintenance of ETL (Extract Transformation and Load) data processes from Care Services Core Systems, maintaining a consistent, reliable and complete set of data for use

      What you’ll bring:

      • Practical knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) and ETL processes and ability to understand how to source and manage large amounts of raw data using most appropriate applications including experience of working with a Datawarehouse and Access applications or similar
      • knowledge of Essbase (cube outlines, hierarchies, scripts, formula) or OLAP applications
      • VBA/SQL code essential, ideally MaxL and MDX
      • Experience of reporting tools such as Cognos, Tableau, Power BI an advantage
      • Proven ability to develop and deliver solutions to meet business requirements
