      Prepare, scan, and index County Clerk records following established procedures and policies. Conduct quality assurance methods for accuracy and distinction.

      1. Images and films County Clerk records.
      2. Prepares documents for imaging.
      3. Ensures proper application targets are placed for scanning and retrieval accuracy and storage media.
      4. Ensures indexing of images on both manual and automated systems.
      5. Indexes and verifies documents to ensure accurate archiving and retrieval ability in all County Clerk document management software.
      6. Implements quality control procedures to ensure integrity of documents and electronic images.
      7. Converts microfilm rolls and microfiche to digital image.
      8. Prepares FTP data transfer and bulk data sales.
      9. Responsible for the redaction of OPR documents according to office and state policies.
      10. Performs data entry of County Clerk records into all record management systems.
      11. Maintains personal activity reports on a daily basis.
      12. Performs maintenance on imaging equipment.
      13. Assists with the supervision of part-time employees.
      14. Performs all other related duties as assigned.

      • High School diploma or equivalent.
      • Minimum of six (6) full-time months experience in a related field.
      • Knowledge of equipment operations, records management discipline, records management software, state laws for electronic record keeping, digital imaging concepts, production and indexing schemes.
      • Must be familiar with the use of a desktop computer and proficient in data entry, keyboarding, and navigating computer applications.
      If hired, must provide proof of educational attainment at new hire processing.
      Tarrant County will conduct background checks on new hires that will include a criminal background check related to convictions and deferred adjudication in the past seven years and may include credit reports, motor vehicle records, employment records and educational attainment. A conviction or deferred adjudication is not an automatic bar to employment. Each case is considered individually.

      While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to walk, stoop, stand, sit, lift below the waist, lift between waist and shoulder, lift overhead, lift to side/twist, bend, carry, climb, push, pull, reach, reach overhead, and work at heights. Will routinely lift 25+ pounds.
