- Excellent technical depth and aptitude with microbiology testing.
- Outstanding working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, good manufacturing practice (GMP) / good laboratory practice (GLP).
- Ability to determine which specific tests to be performed on each raw material or product as it is received in the lab.
- Ability to train & mentor the microbiologist I & II.
- Ability to prepare, culture, and examination of samples for microbiological testing.
- Excellent interpretation of results of microbiological testing and accurate documentation of those results.
- Ability to recognize and initiate OOS/Lab Failure documentation.
- Ability to organize and maintaining data files, outside testing results, and informational tables used for the determination of test procedures.
- Excellent in microbial identifications.
- Skillful in Project Management skills.
- Knowledge of Financial analysis, legal framework, and business drivers.
- Deep understanding of project people and Management knowledge
- Solid Knowledge of the whole flow of supply chain management.
- Understanding of the critical control point.
- Ability to Influence teams and work in diverse groups of people & roles.
- Ability to work independently to manage work progression and time.
- Shows initiative beyond the scope of a project/task.
- Ability to actively provide feedback to colleagues, is open to discussion & proactively recommends Improvements.

- B.S. Degree in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Food Science or equivalent experience.
- Excellent technical depth and aptitude with microbiology testing are required.
- Solid hands-on experience with product development & quality control testing of parenteral and other sterile drugs is required
- ERP system knowledge, preferred SAP knowledge.
- Knowledge of relevant FDA and USP requirements/guidelines & their application to the development of various development products.
- Knowledge & experience in environmental monitoring/testing of clean rooms and aseptic processing as per GMP requirements.
- Regression and acceptance testing cycle experience.

Microbiologist II - First Shift - Newark, DEIFF is seeking an excellent Microbiologist II in Newark, DE to work with raw material, intermediate and finished products, making pass / fail decision. Makes risk analysis and usage decision of non-conformances. Provides technical assistance for Internal and external customers. Generates microbiological documentation.
