      Compensation: $31.50

      Position Summary:
      The Microbiologist is responsible for performing both routine and non-routine microbiological testing in accordance with established procedures, protocols, and regulatory requirements. This role supports quality control through testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Conduct microbiological testing including, but not limited to:
        • Bioburden testing
        • Growth promotion testing
        • Water testing
        • Endotoxin testing
        • Microbial identifications (including use of Vitek)
        • Environmental monitoring (viable air and surface, non-viable particulate monitoring)
        • MODA data system usage
      • Perform raw material, in-process, and final product microbiological testing.
      • Accurately document test results and compare findings against specifications or acceptance criteria.
      • Review data and release inspection lots within the material management system.
      • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment; ensure adequate inventory of supplies.
      • Participate in laboratory investigations, technology transfers, validation activities, and R&D initiatives as needed.
      Qualifications:
      • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Microbiology preferred.
      • 2–4 years of relevant microbiology laboratory experience required.
      • Hands-on experience with the following strongly preferred:
        Bioburden testing, Growth promotion, Water and Endotoxin testing, Microbial ID, Vitek, Environmental monitoring, MODA system.
