- Monitor and maintain microbiological laboratory inventories by completing inventory checklists, monitoring stock levels, and disposing of expired media inventory.
- Prepare, monitor, and maintain microbiological media according to established procedures.
- Operate laboratory autoclaves in a safe, compliant manner following standard operating procedures.
- Log and/or receive raw material, semi-finished, finished, stability, and STR samples in LIMS.
- Perform daily calibration of laboratory instruments such as pH meters and balances according to the department's established calibration program.
- Create daily water batches in SAP, log water samples in LIMS, and deliver them to Microbiology & Chemistry as required.
- Perform routine tasks such as discarding raw material samples and dosage samples in a safe and compliant manner.
- Order and manage lab inventories through Ariba.
- Maintain photocopiers and other office supplies.
- Prepare log books.
- Work as an effective team member to meet department goals, sharing knowledge with team members and across CLS.
- Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and regulatory requirements.
- 1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical/laboratory settings.
- Microbiology Background
- Hands-on experience with autoclaves is highly desirable.

Our client is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Microbiology Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, 3-month contract basis. This onsite position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining and supporting the microbiological laboratory.
