Job Title: Microstrategy Administrator with AWS (Remote)

Contract: 3 Years

Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Microstrategy Administrator with AWS experience to join our team. This remote position will involve leading the administration and maintenance of MicroStrategy servers, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting a range of infrastructure needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MicroStrategy administration, SQL troubleshooting, and cloud platforms like AWS.

General Duties and Tasks:

· Lead the administration and maintenance of MicroStrategy servers from both OS and MicroStrategy tool perspectives.

· Play a key role in capacity planning, performance tuning, and monitoring of MicroStrategy infrastructure.

· Define and implement procedures for the migration of MicroStrategy application and configuration objects from QA to production.

· Install, configure, and deploy MicroStrategy tools and clients.

· Handle MicroStrategy security and administration, including managing roles, LDAP groups, and user interface portals.

· Implement patches and carry out day-to-day MicroStrategy content administration tasks.

· Support new client configurations and database migrations, including setting up new data sources and security roles.

· Troubleshoot reporting issues related to MicroStrategy configurations, cubes, reports, and dashboards.

· Set up web interfaces, operations managers, and enterprise manager configurations.

· Monitor key performance indicators and set up alerts for the MicroStrategy infrastructure.

· Collaborate with developers and assist with demos, problem reports, and other technical support.

Basic Qualifications:

· 10+ years of experience in MicroStrategy or MicroStrategy Administration.

· At least 5 years of experience specifically in MicroStrategy Administration.

· 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence.

· Strong SQL query writing skills and experience in SQL troubleshooting.

· Hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX operating systems.

· Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms is highly desirable.

· Experience in capacity sizing/planning of MicroStrategy infrastructure components.

· Proficiency in creating dynamic dashboards, visualizations, and auditing metrics.
