What is Required (Qualifications):

- Bachelor's degree and valid Missouri Teaching Certification in a 6 through 12th-grade content area
- Retired teacher status
- Proficiency in preparing rigorous and interactive lesson plans for virtual learning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

- Previous experience as a teacher in a virtual or online setting
- Familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite products, and database management
- Superior interpersonal skills to facilitate an excellent educational experience
- Discretion and confidentiality in compliance with district requirements and policies
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
