St. Hilda’s & St. Hugh’s School seeks an energetic, inspiring, and encouraging teacher to teach Middle School Math and Science .

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach math and science for middle school grades.
• Provide students with math and science instruction, curriculum development, and assessment individually or in small groups.
• Collaborate with faculty across curricular areas to integrate curriculum and strengthen outcomes.
• Actively support and model educational best practices in math and science teaching.
• Participate in planning math and science-related division initiatives, including the math event and the Science fair.
• Attend back-to-school nights and other school-sponsored events as required.
• Assist with rotational duties, like lunch and recess duties, as assigned.
• Support the school's student life by chaperoning trips and assuming roles such as a homeroom teacher for a particular grade level.
• Write student progress reports for classes taught.
• Report to the Upper Division Director.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A master’s Degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace for Education.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Experience managing classroom norms and climate, safety protocols, and materials management.
