    • POSITION OVERVIEW: Middle School Social Studies Teacher - Moore Middle

      The Middle School Social Studies Teacher will provide direct instruction using evidence-based best practices, and high quality instructional materials so that each student is able to reach their academic potential. The successful candidate will be adept at fostering an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals, ensuring equitable access to learning opportunities for all students. In addition, the successful candidate will have the responsibility to develop and adjust curricular and instructional materials to monitor student progress and meet the needs of a range of learners. This role aims to implement culturally relevant instruction, integrate content across disciplines, use data, and differentiate to meet student needs. Communicating and interacting with students, parents, colleagues and community members are essential in this role.

      ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:

      Under direction of the school Principal:
