What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Travel seasonally to sell frontlist titles in person and maximize opportunities with various accounts
- Continuously promote and support backlist sales through creative sales strategies
- Create and share custom Edelweiss collections and markups to enhance sales efforts
- Handle account inquiries and provide exceptional customer support to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with client publishers and represent the employer at trade shows and conferences
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: College or university degree in a related field
- 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
- Strong understanding of the book retail sector, including market trends and distribution channels
- Proficiency with Edelweiss and Microsoft Outlook programs, Teams, and Zoom
- Valid driver's license

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Independent bookstore experience
- Proven ability to cultivate and develop positive business relationships
- Advanced organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting books and conveying information effectively
