Job summary

You will work closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care and safety for women, pregnant people and families.
Band 6 Midwife and Band 5 Preceptorship Midwife positions available.
Main duties of the job
It is an exciting time for our service and we would love you to join our team of Midwives and help us to shape our services to support women's choice in place of birth. We offer a comprehensive orientation package, covering all aspects of our service. You will have support from our excellent practice education team.
We offer an excellent induction programme for all and full preceptorship programme for Band 5 Midwives.
About us
We have one main Consultant Unit which is a modern and well equipped facility, along-side a modern purpose built Midwife led unit based at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. In total our birth numbers average 4,500 per year.
We are currently working to transform our services in line with Better Births and wider National maternity ambitions to improve Maternity Services. We have a newly formed dynamic senior leadership team in place who are embracing and supporting maternity transformation.
