  The MVHS Group at Leidos is seeking qualified State Consultants in support of military families to work remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Military OneSource mission. The Military OneSource Program provides 24/7 support services for military members and their families, similar to a commercial employee assistance program (EAP). This program provides a broad array of information, resources, education, referrals, and counseling to about 4.7 million participants which includes military Service members, their families, and eligible civilians at locations worldwide. The Military OneSource program serves as a “one source” for resource and information encompassing a comprehensive support system.

  The Military Field Liaison's (previously State Consultant) primary role is to act as a state-wide subject matter expert educating service- and family members, military leadership, and service providers about Military OneSource resources and programs. This includes supporting military specific events, providing direct support to service- and family members, and completing community capacity building activities with military- and civilian service providers.

  Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Event support includes attending and briefing at Yellow Ribbon deployment events, military family days, drill weekends, etc.

  • Community capacity building entails educating military and civilian service providers about Military OneSource resources and programs, participating in service provider meetings, briefing military leaders, etc.

  • Direct support provides service and family members with information about, and specific referrals to, resources and programs that meet their specific needs.

  • This role is fully remote in the US with approximately 20% travel within the state.

  Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree

  • 4 years of prior military experience as an active duty, National Guard, or reserve member, as a service member spouse, or related civilian experience.

  • In depth knowledge of, and experience with, military and civilian resource and support programs.

  • Current or previous experience as a Military OneSource state consultant/field liaison.

  • Proficient in Windows based software apps, including MS Office Professional Suite.

  • Skilled in providing in-person/virtual briefings and presentations.

  • Exceptional administrative skills.

  • Facilitation and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to follow up and follow through on tasks.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual / fluent in Spanish

  Pay Range:

  Pay Range $66,300.00 - $119,850.00

  The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
