  Milling Operator

  Job Purpose

  Your role will be to oversee the safe running of Triple Roll Mills and achieve the quality of ink that meets specification requirements for our packaging coatings business in Hull.

  Job Responsibilities

  • Work safely & to the highest H&S standards.
  • Operate equipment in-line with company operating procedures.
  • Ensure production targets are met.
  • Prepare each job for testing & present sample to QC colleagues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver improvements & reduce wastage.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve equipment problems & manage product changeovers.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards.

  Job Requirements

  • Good standard of literacy & numeracy.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Good understanding of the importance of operating to company procedures & safely.

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
