- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- Experienced GPs with a specialist interest in minor surgery, Accredited GPwERs or GPwSI in Dermatology who also perform Minor Surgery
- Evidence of specialty training in a relevant field, such as, Dermatology, General Surgery or Plastic Surgery.
- Proven experience in performing minor surgical procedures independently.
- Proficiency in local anaesthesia techniques and wound closure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Performers List proof (any performers list in the UK is acceptable)

Main duties of the job
The role holder is to be accountable for high quality clinical care to adult patients attending the community minor surgery service.
