      Located 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country. Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming. The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between. The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green.

      Job Description

      Omni PGA Frisco Resort is seeking a creative and knowledgeable Mixologist (Bartender) Part Time | Trick Rider Full-Time to join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.

      Trick Rider is a new age supper club serving luxury, curated food and tricked up cocktails, wines, and distilled spirits. It is experiential with swagger. A Frisco eatery like no other, featuring top shelf fin, shellfish and a stable of premium cut meats. Sit ringside at the chef’s table or at the horseshoe bar. A performance playing homage to traditions with a modern twist.

      The bartender will be responsible for providing efficient friendly customer service at all times and to maintain a clean, professional top quality bar.

      Responsibilities

      • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the Resort.
      • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
      • Provide outstanding service to guests, members and other service staff in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service.
      • Produce drinks for servers, guests and members according to standard recipes, and deliver to guests as needed. Make drinks only when rung in on MICROS.
      • Maintain familiarity with the wine list, the stemware and appropriate garnishes used.
      • Keep bar stocked and clean at all times.
      • Monitor inventory.
      • Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
      • Must maintain full familiarity with menus and knowledge of beverage offerings.
      • Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to TABC laws.
      • Assist with front of house tasks to meet business demands, i.e. greeting tables and getting initial drink orders, polishing glassware, silverware, etc.
      • Assist in the orientation and training of new associates.
      • Participate in department meetings and other required trainings.
      • Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

      Qualifications

      • Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC – or obtain upon hire.
      • 1 year bartending experience required. Prior server experience preferred.
      • Comprehensive wine, liquor and beer knowledge required.
      • Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
      • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
      • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi task.
      • Must be able to work flexible shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.
      • Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
      • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.
      • Work in interior of restaurant kitchen and designated bar area, with occasional travel around resort property as needed.
      • Exposure to various cleaning chemicals.
      • Exposure to food items and beverages.
