      PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
      The Machine Learning Data Associate (MLDA) will raise the bar for data quality across the org through multiple workflows. Work closely with internal and external data partners to ensure we receive the best quality data for training and evaluation of our LLM's.

      KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
      - Performs straightforward tasks and procedures related to multiple ML data process areas.
      - Understands ML data workflows and data collection methodologies.
      - Verifies metrics (task, system performance, etc) accuracy and makes sure workflows are equally compliant.
      - Supports new-tool onboarding (operationalized and bootstrapped interfaces).
      - Helps define requirements (e.g. tools, training material, guidelines, data collection protocol, quality check etc.)
      - Identifies process variations in known work types and drives standardization.
      - 2+ years of experience working with data annotation and quality assurance
      - Significant practical engineering experience including a supervisory role managing people.
      - A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) from an accredited university or 2+ years experience in an Amazon engineering team.
      - Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
      - Experience of automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems.
      - Excellent communications skills (written & verbal) in English and the local language.
      - Experience of working to appropriate health & safety standards and regulations.
      - Excellent computer skills (MS Office, CAD).
      - Full working knowledge of all specialized engineering and facilities equipment within the FC as well as maintenance and safety procedures.
      - Experience working with PLC based control systems.
      - Project Management experience.
      - Knowledge of CMMS programmes.
      - Experience with Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Process.

      Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $40,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $86,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
