      Job Description:
      As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing advanced intersection safety solutions that prevent crashes and protect lives. You'll work on real-time systems that leverage computer vision, machine learning, and data science to enhance road safety. Collaborating with a passionate team, you'll build and deploy models that analyze traffic patterns, optimize signal timing, and power automated safety systems. Your work will directly contribute to reducing the 2.4 million injuries caused by traffic crashes each year.

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for real-time traffic analysis and crash prevention.
      • Implement computer vision algorithms to detect and track vehicles, pedestrians, and road conditions.
      • Optimize signal processing and statistical models to improve intersection safety systems.
      • Build and maintain data pipelines to process and analyze large-scale traffic datasets.
      • Contribute to the development of an online visualization dashboard, ensuring seamless data presentation (basic front-end/back-end web development).
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into AWS-hosted infrastructure.
      • Stay updated on advancements in machine learning, computer vision, and traffic safety technologies to drive innovation.

      Qualifications:
      • Proficiency in Python and C/C++ for developing high-performance systems.
      • Expertise in machine learning, computer vision, tracking, data science, signal processing, statistics, and optimization.
      • Familiarity with AWS and basic knowledge of front-end/back-end web development for dashboard integration.
      • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (salary commensurate with experience).
      • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for using technology to solve real-world problems.
      • Experience with real-time systems or traffic safety solutions is a plus.
