      Job Summary and Opportunity

      This pivotal role will guide Axos through an exciting period of growth and innovation, collaborating with our strategic partnerships and our internal resources.

      Work closely with our product, marketing, engineering, and business teams to craft and execute effective marketing strategies for our mobile application(s). Drive the feature roadmap, setting app download and feature adoption goals, monitoring key user engagement metrics, elevating mobile app ratings on Google Play and App Stores, managing budgets, and ensuring projects stay on track. Your ultimate mission is to drive revenue by boosting awareness and increasing adoption of/engagement with Axos' top-tier mobile apps across diverse B2B and B2C audiences.

      Responsibilities

      • Strategic GTM Leadership: Spearheaded the development and implementation of go-to-market strategies for new mobile products and features, prioritizing the expansion of our user base and steering our trajectory through subsequent growth and innovation phases
      • Budgeting and Planning: Create business case proformas and annual marketing and digital media plans that include projected rates of return based on customer acquisition, cross-selling, and retention
      • Customer Advocacy: Immerse yourself in understanding our B2B and B2C customer segments and their unique needs. Serve as their champion within our organization, ensuring our mobile app roadmap, strategies, and GTM tactics align with their expectations and resonate with our app's core value proposition
      • Industry Insights and Competitive Benchmarking: Maintain a comprehensive grasp of the online personal and small business finance sector, keeping tabs on competitor movements and their mobile app trajectories. Bring to the table informed perspectives about our mobile app's potential evolution within the broader market context
      • Collaborative Product Differentiation: Foster close collaborations with key internal stakeholders. Together, craft a distinct product offering and user experience, ensuring that we communicate its unique value proposition at critical touchpoints in the customer journey, tailored to specific user segments
      • Effective Content and In-App Advertising Placements: Develop diverse, informative resources to educate and convert potential and existing users. This includes creating web pages, emails, videos, case studies, social media content, press releases, and other relevant product materials to bolster customer satisfaction. It also includes expanding display and contextual next-best product and next-best-action placements within the app
      • Innovation Champion: Foster innovation by continuously monitoring industry developments to keep us ahead of the curve in knowledge and capabilities
      • Performance Metrics: Ensure full-picture tracking is in place to report on all activity related to the app, its features (like credit score monitoring and account aggregation), and its key segments. Establish and consistently monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to gauge the efficacy of content and the success of our campaigns, ensuring they're aligned with overarching business objectives

      Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Online Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline
      • 10+ years' mobile and product marketing
      • Track record of successfully acquiring and retaining mobile app and product users using various tactics, such as targeted advertising, email marketing, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
      • Strong project management skills managing multiple projects simultaneously
      • Deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of marketing mobile products in the finserv space
      • Familiarity with the mobile development process and experience working closely with product and engineering teams to align marketing and product strategies
