Coordinate server Patching, data Entry and technical documentation of end-to-end systems

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree

Drivers license is required as there will be travel to sites during the co-op term

Spanish proficiency is an asset

Able to demonstrate creative problem solving, good communication and organization skills with solid grasp of Windows environment

SQL or PowerShell skills is an asset

Experience with server administration, networking & cybersecurity exposure is an asset

Previous exposure to control systems is an asset

Willing and curious to work in an industrial environment

Able to work efficiently independently as well as part of the team

Proven ability to learn innovative technologies and platforms quickly, accurately, and efficiently

Able to communicate with precision in a technical environment

Able to articulate sophisticated concepts clearly and in a way a diverse audience would understand

Start Date: Monday, September 9, 2024
For this exciting position, we are specifically targeting students who have a background in Computer Science or Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Software). We are looking for self-starters, driven to learn more about the Mining industry and curious to gain experience on site work. Depending on the needs and location of the team, you will need to work PDT or MDT or relocate to a specific office (site-based). You are currently a student enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution and will be enrolled throughout the duration of the co-op term (you will also be returning back to the post-secondary institution once the co-op term is completed). Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.

Wage Range: $3900 - $5000 / Month
Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.
