What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Repair equipment using appropriate tools to meet company standards
- Diagnose and resolve operating errors in a timely manner
- Maintain an inventory of repair parts and ensure proper charging of parts used
- Establish effective routes for repairing down or inoperable equipment
- Assist in various areas as directed by supervisors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and automotive/trailer mechanics
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in vehicle repair or related field
- Additional certifications in automotive or trailer mechanics
- Experience with fleet maintenance operations
- Knowledge of safety practices in a repair environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
